How the date difference calculator works
Enter a starting date and an ending date to calculate the exact interval between them. The result separates the interval into years, months, days, hours, and minutes, and also shows the total number of complete days.

The calculation follows actual month lengths and leap years. Times are compared to the minute, and the ending date cannot be earlier than the starting date.

What does "total days" mean?
Total days is the number of complete days between the two selected moments. The detailed result also includes the remaining hours and minutes.
Does the calculator account for leap years?
Yes. The calculation uses real calendar dates, including February 29 in leap years and the different lengths of calendar months.
