November 14th, 2027

The International Day against Illicit Trafficking in Cultural Property is observed every year on November 14 to draw attention to the theft, looting, and illegal sale of cultural objects. The date marks the anniversary of the 1970 UNESCO Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property, and UNESCO adopted the day in 2019. Stolen and looted artifacts, artworks, and archaeological finds rob communities of their identity and history and can fund criminal networks. Museums, customs authorities, and heritage organizations use the day to promote international cooperation, stronger controls, and the return of cultural property to its rightful owners.

November 14 of every year is World Diabetes Day, one of the important days in the health calendar, designed to draw attention to one of the most pressing and widespread medical problems of our time. The day aims to not only educate the public about diabetes, but also highlight the need for collective action to prevent, treat and manage this chronic disease. Diabetes is a chronic disease characterized by the body's inability to properly manage blood sugar levels. It is divided into two main types: type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes. Type 1 diabetes most often develops in early childhood and requires constant insulin administration. Type 2 diabetes, on the other hand, is more often lifestyle-related and can be prevented and controlled through a healthy diet and physical activity.
